Dancing Through Life!

It was Saturday, March 22, 2008. That's when it happened. Sure I was expecting it, but still, nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to see. There had been a lot of talk, hype if you will, was I skeptical? No, I was a fan, a huge fan already. Perhaps too huge. I was hooked, needing more, that's was brought me there that night. That's why I couldn't stay away.

It was nearing time to begin, the anticipation mounting. Why was I so anxious? I had been through something like this before. But somehow, this time was different, I could feel it.

I was walking down Hollywood Blvd, a couple of friends by my side. We were dressed in style. There was no turning back now, the plan was in motion. It was exciting...

It was thrilling...

It was.....wicked...

WICKED the musical! It was phenomenal! Outstanding performance by the entire cast!

I fell in love with the music from Wicked last year, and knew I had to see it. The wait was long, but entirely worth it. For anyone who is not familiar with the book or production, Wicked is the untold story of the witches of Oz. It gives a different look to the classic story of the Wizard of Oz. You gain a better understanding of the characters true "colors". Told through humor and touching songs, we see Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West) and Galinda, thats Galinda with a Ga (later to be known as Glinda) form a friendship and new story that forever change the way you see these classic Oz characters. (sorry for sounding like a Wicked promotion, i seriously should be getting paid for advertisement)

After the show we waited outside the stage door to get photos and autographs from the stars of the show! It was a memory to last forever.

A ShamROCKin GoOd TiMe!

On March 15th I had a lil-o-celebration for St. Patrick's Day. Early, yes, but none the less, amAzing!
Festivities included some good o' karaoke, a raffle with spectacular green st. patty wear (green boas, hat, shamrock necklaces,...), and my favorite --the JELLO shots!--
It was good times, good food, fun laughs, amazing performances, and all in all a uber-cool partay!
The pictures really say it all...
