New Portrait

Today I completed a portrait for Paige's Papa of her beautiful Nana who recently passed away.
I was inspired to get it done because her Papa is here for a visit.

I'm really proud of how it turned out and the family seems to love it!
It made me so happy to do this and I'm glad they have it to enjoy.

X FEST 2009

Saturday July 18, 2009 was X-FEST 2009.
My brothers Matt & Kyle along with Paige, Becky, Adam, & Nichole went.
While out shopping before the show, we decided to get look-a-like shirts to wear to the concert. We chose black shirts with neon colored graphics!
We looked rockin' so we decided to take some pictures before we left.

It was still light out when we got there and super super hot!
Maybe black shirts were a bad idea... lol

This is us hanging out before the show.
BROTHERS!

The first band we saw, which was my favorite and main reason for going was

They were AMAZING! I have seen them before and enjoyed them just as much this time.
We were standing at a good distance from the stage and even found some entertainment from a 6'-something guy who was probably the biggest Lit fan there. HAHA

It was SooOoOOo crowded!

The next act we saw was

Booty Booty Booty Booty rockin' everywhere!

It was fun and we started to stay for Baby Bash, but we were done with the crowds, the smells, and the overall crazy that was X-FEST.
We headed out and went to Denny's for some delicious milkshakes and food!!

Let the Concerts Begin!!

Last Week Paige and I went to a concert in Concord. Earlier in the year a parent at my work asked if I wanted some concert tickets, and I said sure. They were for New Kids On The Block, she said she didn't care to drive out to Concord and had won them through a radio station.

So the time finally came and it was time for the concert. My family was gone at a family reunion in Utah and I was happy to have something to look forward to since I could not go. (I had work trainings I couldn't miss...)

The show started with the Dance crew the Jabbawockeez!

They were really entertaining and even danced to the song "Single Ladies!" It was funny and a great show starter!

The Next to perform was Jesse McCartney.

I was surprised at how many songs I knew of his. I thought I only knew one or two, but there were some others I recognized.

But of course the main reason why all the 30-40 year old women brushed off their over sized groupie buttons and squeezed into their original boy band t-shirts was for the one, the only...It was fun to see these guys, obviously enjoying the glory days again, busting out their best moves and attempting all those old notes!
This is Paige and I acting like all the die-hard fans. :) LOL

All in all, it was a really fun night!
We did leave early to avoid the mass crowd, but I'm sure we weren't missed.
